Jim Tsilimos, the all-time wins leader at Lisbon is taking over the head football coaching vacancy at Carrollton. His hiring made official Tuesday via school board approval.
Tsilimos announced his retirement from Lisbon following the 2017 season, which capped a pair of stints totaling 25 years in which he won 147 games, made seven playoff appearances and led the program to the 1995 Division V state championship.
He replaces another veteran head coach, Phil Mauro, who stepped down after two seasons in charge of the Warriors program.
Tsilimos debuts on the Warriors' sideline August 30th when they host St. Clairsville.
