Wreaths for vets delivered

A special holiday tribute for our veterans rolled through the Ohio Valley on Wednesday.

It's a program that delivers countless wreaths to remember those who served our country arrived with plenty of support.

Remember our hero's, honor their service, and teach the value of freedom are what the wreaths symbolize, and plenty of people came out to be a part of that tradition.

Daniel Medvec, an army veteran, has been driving the truck with its special cargo for the last 4 days.

"Each time you're driving down the road, you think about what your hauling in the back, not only the product but the amount of people who will be happy for the holidays remembering their son or daughter."

Cheryl Skinner came out to sign the special delivery truck before it heads off to the next town.

Skinner could see it has so much meaning to military families this holiday season.

"It's just amazing to see the kids that have signed this trailer and have thanked our troops for all of those who made the ultimate sacrifice," she said.

What makes this program so special is that all wreaths will be placed simultaneously on memorials nationwide.
