AMSTERDAM, Ohio — Jefferson County Water and Sewer District officials will be in Amsterdam on Monday for a meeting with residents, as well as those in Loudon Township.
The purpose of the meeting, which will be held in the village building at 103 Springfield Street in Amsterdam, is to make it as convenient as possible for residents to have easements for the Amsterdam Sewer Project signed, notarized, and recorded.
“It’s very important for the people in the village of Amsterdam to go to this meeting,” Jefferson County Commissioner Thomas Graham said. “That way, they can be informed in terms of what’s going on, time frame of when this will be all up and running, easements that need signed - we have about 50 percent more to go in terms of the easements that need to be taken care of. "
Representatives will be available from 4 to 7 p.m.
