Two arrested for September break-in


After a months-long investigation, two men have been arrested for breaking into a Harrison County gas station and getting away with cigarettes, lottery tickets and cash.

34-year-old Brian Leishman, Jr. and 33-year-old Gregory Barnes, both of Flushing, are accused of breaking in to the Piedmont gas station in September.

According to the Harrison County Sheriff's Office, an indictment is also pending against them for theft from the Hopedale Mine.

Both men are being held in the Harrison County jail.
