Suspected meth dealer arrested in Steubenville


The Jefferson County Drug Task Force has made an arrest in a 2-month investigation of a man suspected of shipping methamphetamine from Oklahoma to Steubenville.

During a routine traffic stop in Steubenville, an OSHP K-9 detected narcotics in a vehicle.

Quenton Bryan Tom, 39, of Wilburton, OK., was traveling from the Pittsburgh International Airport.

After searching the vehicle, officers found 30 grams of liquid meth.

Tom is suspected of shipping around 50 grams of meth from Oklahoma to Jefferson County and transporting meth on an airplane.

He is being charged with four counts of drug trafficking and one count of possession of drugs.

Tom is being held at the Jefferson County Justice Center until his arraignment on Monday.
