Sheriff confirms overdose death in Powhatan Point
POWHATAN POINT, Ohio —
The Belmont County Sheriff's Office confirmed a man's death in Powhatan Point on Sunday night was the result of an overdose.
Charles Boston, 42, was found dead at the family home with several different drugs in his system.
Sheriff Dave Lucas said heroin, fentanyl, morphine, codeine, and tramadol were found in his body.
Until they know more, a warning has been issued.
"Was this taken separately, or was this a cocktail a mixture together and taken all at once? If that is the case, and that is out there, someone is doing that, it could be very serious in regards to other people, so we wanted to put that out there,” said Sheriff Lucas.
