Second session of the Bright S.T.A.R Program takes place Saturday
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio —
If you missed the first one, you still have a chance to participate!
The second session of the Bright S.T.A.R Program at Brightway will take place Saturday.
S.T.A.R stands for "students taking action responsibly."
It’s all about developing and maintaining healthy relationships -- not just with a significant other but with your family and friends.
“Things that, you know, you might not think about to talk to your child about or maybe it's a single parent household and mom or dad- whoever is so busy to keep the family together that conversations like that just don't happen,” said Cathy Takach, director of programming and community relations at Brightway Center.
This is the first relationship program for the Brightway Center, and it's free to attend.
Lunch will be provided and transportation is available.
To sign up you can go to the Brightway Center website.
