Residents learn about water line update
STEUBENVILLE, Ohio —
Residents in Steubenville learned about a water line upgrade project that will take place along Bryden and East Carlton Road during a public meeting at the Prime Time senior center.
Residents in the area were assured any property damaged throughout the project will be replaced by the city.
Some residents have concerns about how the upgrade will affect their access to water.
"Well I don't want dirty water, you know what I mean," said Marie Wright.
The project will be completed in three phases, with the third phase set to be completed by October.
The first road closing will begin July 18 near Lovers Lane.
