Rayland hosts first bazaar fundraiser
JEFFERSON COUNTY, OH —
A first-of-its kind event was held in Rayland Saturday to support a non-profit Christian organization.
Brightway Center hosted a fundraising bazaar.
The youth group sold crafts and baked goods.
Other vendors sold things like jewelry and decorations.
Brightway Center provides a number of programs for area kids to educate them about things like character, leadership and healthy relationships.
“We've had people that came in and know about the kids and what they're trying to do and donate money and not buy anything just because, so the community really helps that way,” said Cathy Takach.
This was the first year for the bazaar and will likely take place again next year.
