STEUBENVILLE, Ohio — The Sycamore Youth Center and the Harmonium Project joined forces to put on a free guitar clinic and concert Friday evening in Steubenville.
Over 50 people attended the clinic, run by one of the top guitarists in the world, Phil Keaggy. Keaggy is from Ohio, and for the last three years, he has been voted one of the top fingerstyle guitarists by Guitar Player Magazine.
After the clinic, Keaggy played a concert for a packed house of over 250 audience members.
“I love sharing with them and especially meeting them after. I enjoyed hearing some of their stories. They heard my story of how I learned and who some of my influences were,” Keaggy said.
