Orange water in Cross Creek?

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio -- An orange tint in Cross Creek, just outside of Bloomingdale, resulting from an oil and gas project, which is a violation of a state permit. {}NEWS9 asked the Ohio EPA why residents weren't notified of the violation. {}Spectra Energy was conducting a test for their brand new natural gas pipeline project and was discharging the water into the creek. {}Officials with the Ohio EPA say they do not anticipate any harm will come to the stream but acknowledged that the company did violate their permit. {}The EPA is still testing samples in order to determine what action to take.
