Man in custody after stabbing incident in Dover
A man remains in the hospital after an early morning stabbing incident in Dover on Saturday.
According to Dover Police, the victim was reportedly stabbed in the chest. After being transported to a local hospital, he was moved to Summa Akron City Hospital. Police say he is in stable condition.
A 37-year-old Dover man is being held in Tuscarawas County jail on a charge of felonious assault, according to jail personnel.
The incident was reported just after 3 a.m. in the 200 block of N. Tuscarawas Avenue.
The names of the victim and the suspect are not being released at this time.
The incident remains under investigation.
