HARRISON COUNTY, Ohio — In the race for Ohio State Representative, District 95, Don Jones won by a wide margin over Dan Milleson (66 percent to 34 percent).
“We look forward to fulfilling our campaign promises, and working with the people in the five counties that we represent. We’re going to look at education. Obviously, education is important with everybody, and we’re going to make education one of our priorities,” said Jones, a teacher and business owner. “Regulations on small businesses is something we’re going to look at, and we’re going to go after pretty quickly away.”
Don Bethel retained his seat on the Harrison County Board of Commissioners with grabbing 56 percent of the vote against challenger Danny L. Henry.
In the Harrison County Auditor race, Allison Anderson defeated incumbent Patrick Moore by garnering 65 percent of the vote.
