With week ten action nearly complete, most area teams in Ohio know if they will or will not be advancing to postseason play, according to the latest calculations at JoeEitel.com .

In Division IV, region 13, Steubenville has clinched a home playoff game and will likely either host Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (7-3) or Akron Buchtel. If Buchtel (5-4) beats 8-1 Akron East on Saturday, it appears Buchtel will head to Harding Stadium on Saturday, November 3rd.

Also in that region, Indian Creek had clinched a playoff spot and likely travels to Hubbard.

St. Clairsville had previously clinched the top seed in Division IV region 15. The Red Devils will be home next Saturday, against 6-4 Proctorville Fairland. Indian Valley appears to have locked down the 3 seed in that region and would host John Glenn.

Rivals Martins Ferry and Bellaire appear to be headed to their 113th all-time meeting, just one week after the 112th meeting of the longstanding rivalry. Martins Ferry's 34-0 win against the Big Reds clinched a playoff berth and put them 4th in Division V, region 19, just ahead of five seed Bellaire. Meadowbrook is also in, likely the third seed hosting Oak Hill.

Despite a 14-13 loss Friday night to unbeaten Wheeling Central, Shadyside unofficially clinched home game in Division VI region 23, with Frankfort Adena set to visit next Friday.

Steubenville Central clinched a playoff spot even without playing Friday. The Crusaders can still earn a home game with a win against unbeaten Fort Frye Saturday night, a chance to finish third or fourth in region 21. Southern Local is also in and appears to finish 6th if Central loses Saturday and fifth with a Central win (Southern beat the Crusaders earlier this season).

In Division VII, the only OVAC team which can still qualify is River. The Pilots should get in if Racine Southern loses to 4-5 Eastern on Saturday. If Racine Southern wins, River would be out.

Dover has clinched a home game in Division II region 7 after shutting out rival New Phila. The Tornadoes appear to have a home date with Whitehall-Yearling in week 11.

Divisions I, II, III and VI will be played Friday nights at 7 p.m. Divisions IV, V and VII will play Saturday nights at 7 p.m.
