Toronto brought home the second state baseball title in school history Saturday with a 3-1 win over Hillsdale.

Senior Nate Karaffa was the winning pitcher. He struck out 12 batters and also drove in the game's first run. Fellow senior Nick Sninchak drove home the other two runs for Brian Perkins' Red Knights.

Toronto closed the season with 16 straight wins to finish with a 28-5 record. The 2019 team now joins the 1998 squad as Division IV state champs.
