Updated: Sunday, February 16 2014, 10:38 PM EST

Five champions were crowned in Saturday's Wheeling Hospital OVAC Boys' Basketball Championships at Ohio University-Eastern.

The nightcap Saturday had Wheeling Central knocking off top-seed Wellsville in Class 2A by a final score of 69-65. Chase Harler and David Park each scored 24 for the Maroon Knights. They combined for 19 of Central's 20 fourth quarter points.  Nate Scott led Wellsville with 25.

Bishop Donahue brought home its second OVAC Class A tournament title with a 77-53 win over Trinity. Junior post Chaice Truex posted 24 points and 23 rebounds.

Morgantown knocked off Wheeling Park 76-69 in Class 5A. The Mohigans had lost to Park by 25 a month earlier, but had some injured players back and a young team playing much better. Ryan Reinbeau led the Patriots with 18 points.

The second game of the day featured Steubenville knocking off top-ranked and unbeaten Union Local 63-51 in Class 4A. Big Red built a 20 point halftime lead en route to the win. Adam Sterling's 19 points led Steubenville.

The opener Saturday was a double-overtime thriller which Fort Frye won 60-56 over Steubenville Catholic Central. The Crusaders continually rallied back in this one, but the Cadets would take home their 3rd tourney title. Matt Martello led Central with 15 points.

Catch all five game broadcasts Sunday on ME-TV Ohio Valley, starting with Class A at noon.
