The day country music fans wait for is upon us.

Thursday is the early 1-day ticket sale for Jamboree in the Hills 2017 -- the 41st year for the event.

While fans dream of sunshine, warmth, and country music, some will line up at the Jamboree in the Hills site on a frigid day to get their hands on the biggest value the event has offered in years.

The price for a 4-day pass is $150. Ticket sales will be going on today from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and this is the only day you can get them this at that rate.

As always, there is an advantage to buying your tickets in Morristown.

"If they come here on the site, they will save on service fees,” JITH General Manager Kelly Tucker-Jones said. “There will be no service fees on top of your ticket. We'll have Jamboree merchandise available for purchase and it’s kind of just a nice gathering of fans all day today."

If you can’t make it to the JITH site, there are other ways to purchase your tickets. You can get them online at, or you can get them by calling 1-800-594-TIXX.

Thomas Rhett, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Chris Young, Sammy Kershaw, Kelsea Ballerini, Lee Greenwood, and Sawyer Brown have already been announced as acts for Jamboree in the Hills 2017.
