Suspects nabbed in prostitution sting appear in court
STEUBENVILLE, Ohio —
Six people were arrested in connection to a prostitution sting earlier this week. Three of those individuals faced a judge this morning.
Nicole Boggs of Brilliant entered a not guilty plea to solicitation, a misdemeanor three charge. She was released on her own recognizance and in the meantime must undergo screening at the health department and work actively with a recovery center.
Dale Kenefick of Steubenville pleads no contest to loitering and engaging in solicitation in a motor vehicle. He was given a $500-dollar fine plus court costs. He will be under a 90-day unsupervised probation period.
Mark Truex of Colliers also pleads no contest and was given a 500-dollar fine and will be on a 90-day probation period.
Thomas Taylor and Steven Wolvin were not in court today. Taylor has a pretrial scheduled for July 11th and Wolvin will be back in court June 24th.
Angela Massey was supposed to be in court yesterday for an open container violation but failed to appear. Massey also failed to appear in court this morning. She now has an active warrant out for her arrest.
