Police foot chase ends with two arrests in New Martinsville

A police foot chase ended with two arrests in New Martinsville.

It happened around 9:30 last night when New Martinsville police got a call from officers in Monroe County.

Several cars had been broken into, but at least one of the stolen computers pinged near Monroe Avenue in Wetzel County.

New Martinsville's police chief visited the home where the computers were thought to be located and a man began to run from him.

That man was later arrested. Talon Feucht is charged with fleeing.

Chief Tim Cecil says Michaela Alleman was also arrested for an outstanding warrant.

The chief says he believes both were involved in a string of car thefts in the Woodsfield area.

Several computers and other items were recovered.

Both are in the Northern Regional Jail and more charges are pending.
