A man accused of raping two children in Mingo Junction pleaded not guilty on Wednesday in a Jefferson County courtroom.

Mark Cashdollar, 24, of Mingo Junction, was arraigned after being indicted by the grand jury.

The alleged victims -- one boy and one girl -- are both under the age of 10.

“We are very, very concerned about this case because of the age of the children, and look forward to moving this through the court system as quickly as possible,” Jefferson County Prosecutor Jane Hanlin said.

Investigators say the incidents happened more than once between September and October.

Cashdollar is free on bond but ordered to have no contact with the children.

Danielle Eckles

Also arraigned was the woman who allegedly caused an accident while driving the wrong way on the Veteran's bridge.

Danielle Eckles, of Steubenville, entered a not guilty plea to charges including aggravated vehicular assault and OVI.

The incident happened on Oct. 26.

Investigators say Eckles hit another car, causing serious injuries to the two people inside.

Her bond was reduced from $250,000 to $50,000.
