Main Street Bank sponsors student artwork billboards

Main Street Bank is awarding students in local counties for their talents in arts.

Billboards are on display with artwork from students from Brooke, Ohio, and Marshall counties

The bank provided the space for each winning student, and their school is getting $500 each from the bank.

Bank President Rich Lucas says it’s a community project that the bank and the schools really enjoy.

“We get a lot of feedback,” Lucas said. “It’s a lot of fun and everybody loves the Christmas billboard. And it’s nice for 4-5 weeks, you can drive by and see a local art program by the children.”

“I drew a picture of a puppy inside a box for Christmas and joined because I love to draw, and I thought this would be nice for my school,” said Janae Walker of Wheeling Middle School.
