Four vehicles, including a pickup truck pulling an enclosed trailer filled with paint thinner, were involved in an accident shortly before 7:30 a.m. on U.S. 250 near Buxton Road in Harrison County.

The crash resulted in minor injuries and paint thinner spilling on the road.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a bus was turning left onto Buxton Road, two vehicles behind it stopped, and then a chain reaction followed.

Lt. Joe Fetty says these accidents are becoming way too common on the road.

"This is the third crash in 3 weeks we've had on this road due to following too close and not paying attention while they are on this road,” he said. “I'd like to take the time to encourage drivers while they are out here on 250, although the scenery may be beautiful, the road is very dangerous and they need to watch what they are doing and pay attention."

In this accident, there were only minor injuries. Everyone was treated at the scene.
