Brooke County student arrested after alleged gun threats
BROOKE COUNTY, W. Va. —
A student at Brooke High School has been arrested for allegedly making terroristic threats.
Brooke County Sheriff Larry Palmer says a 15-year-old student was arrested after allegedly posting to social media that he was going to shoot people at the school district.
Authorities say they used a search warrant and found that there were weapons in the student's home, but that they were locked in safes owned by his parents.
The student faces two charges of making threats.
