Police chase ends in U.S. 22 crash

The driver of the vehicle was Jordan Menke.

The passenger was Tori Scaff.

Menke faces charges of failure to maintain safe driving, according to an officer with the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Other charges are pending in Pennsylvania.

A police chase started in Robinson Township, Pa. and ended with a crash in Harrison County along State Route 22.

Police officers in Robinson Township, Pa. chased the vehicle more than 50 miles before the driver wrecked into a tractor trailer. The vehicle then careened over boulders and gravel before coming to a stop on County Road 13. However, the chase didn't stop there.

“After the crash, the driver fled the scene up over a hillside and climbed a tree, at which point he was taken into custody without any issues,” said Trooper Tim Meyers, OSHP.

No injuries were reported. The unidentified male driver and female passenger were taken into custody. Police said charges would be pending both in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
