Boil order updates

Below is a list of current boil orders, organized by city:

STEUBENVILLE: Feb. 16, 6:21 p.m. -- A boil water advisory has been issued for Scenic Dr., Westwood Dr. and anyone else who has experienced low or no water pressure close to these areas. The advisory will be in effect until further notice. Consumers should vigorously boil, for at least one minute, and water used for drinking (including water used to make ice), cooking or oral hygiene. This advisory has been issued as a result of a water main break.

STEUBENVILLE: Feb. 14, 9 a.m.: During a valve replacement, residents will not have water. Residents on Iva Way from Whitehaven Boulevard to Braybarton Boulevard, Braybarton Circle, Terri Avenue and Linda Way will be affected. The outage is estimated to be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, but could be longer if necessary. Once water is restored, those areas will be under a boil advisory until further notice, as well as any additional areas that experienced little to no water pressure nearby.

MOUNDSVILLE, Feb. 8, 1:43 p.m. -- There is a main water line break in Moundsville on eastern Fourth Street beyond McNinch Elementary School. Water service will be shut off on Fourth Street from Poplar Avenue to Rine's Trailer Court, including Hillview Terrace and Maxwell Acres, so crews can repair the leak. Crews are on the scene. A 48-hour boil order will be in force once service has been restored to the customers.

MARSHALL COUNTY, FEB. 12, 10 a.m. -- Marshall County PSD has issued a boil water order for 3299 to 2878 Lone Oak Road.

STEUBENVILLE, FEB 6 -- 11 a.m. – A water boil issue has been issued for the following areas in Steubenville until further notice: Arlington Avenue, Oak Grove Ave., Hawthorne Court, and the 800 block of Belleview Boulevard. The advisory also applies to anyone who has experienced low or no water pressure close to that area.

WHEELING: FEB 14, 11 a.m. -- Wheeling Water Dept. has issued a boil water advisory for 109-120 Nuttal Avenue.


(FEB 8, 9:15 p.m.) - Original : WEIRTON, FEB. 6: The Weirton Area Water Board will be doing a water treatment plant shut down at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6. The work is planned to last 4-to-6 hours. A boil order will follow the start-up of the water treatment plant for residents and businesses on all of Weirton Heights, Weir Avenue, Cove Road, Colliers Way, King’s Creek, Route 2 North (County Road), Weircrest, and King’s Creek Bowl areas.

(FEB 9, 10 a.m.)- Originial: WEIRTON, FEB. 8, 2:15 p.m. --All businesses and residents of Cove Rd from Weir Ave. to Overbrook Dr. only until further notice.

(FEB 9) Original: WEIRTON, FEB. 6, 4:54 p.m. -- Oakland PSD is issuing a boil order for customers in the areas of Lyons Road, Hudson Hill Road, Northfork Road, Kings Creek Road, and side streets connected to these roads because of work being done by the city of Weirton. This will last into Wednesday morning.
