Agency supporting pregnant women in need holds fundraiser

An annual fundraising dinner was held Monday evening to help those dealing with a crisis pregnancy.

The AIM Women's Center of Steubenville is celebrating 30 years. St. Florian Hall in Wintersville was home to their biggest annual fundraiser.

The dinner had more than 500 attendees, with all proceeds of the event going toward helping women who have a crisis pregnancy.

“I feel like helping women in crisis pregnancy is a community effort, and this is an opportunity to show that the community is working together to help women who are in crisis,” said Victoria Fallon, AIM executive director.

The money raised will help provide counseling, tests, consultation and several other key supportive options for expecting mothers in need of assistance.
