BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio

Officials tracked down a man who tried to break into a vehicle at Bills Towing in Bridgeport Sunday afternoon and then took off into his own vehicle.

Bills Towing followed the vehicle and gave updates to dispatchers on the vehicles location.

It finally came to a stop on East Main Street near Jacks Barber Shop.

The Belmont County sheriff's Office then initiated the traffic stop at that location.

The driver was identified as Corey Rockhold.

The Bridgeport Police Department is charging Rockhold and transported him to the jail.

An 18-month-old child was also inside the vehicle.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol assisted the Sheriff's Office and the Bridgeport Police Department.
