One injured after two commercial tankers collide

HARRISON COUNTY, Ohio – Two commercial tankers collided along U.S. 22, just outside of Cadiz on around 7:30 on Thursday night, with officials with the Ohio State Highway Patrol saying one man was flown from the scene.
Officials said the driver who lost control of his vehicle was the only one hurt, and he had to be airlifted to a Pittsburgh-area hospital. According to officials, the tanker headed west lost control, crossed the center line and struck the oncoming vehicle. The other driver was uninjured.
The tanker was hauling water.
This accident is still under investigation, and no citations were immediately issued.
