Randi Jo Foster-Chavanak remained filled with emotion Tuesday after visiting her two cousins in the hospital after their camper blew up in flames during Memorial Day weekend at Seneca Lake.
On Sunday, Chavanak said she was sitting on the porch and looked over across the street, which is where there camp is located, and saw a fire.
She ran to help. Seconds later, she heard two loud explosions.
"I ran to the front door and yelled, 'where's the baby?'" she said.
The 15-month-old baby was safe, resting in her grandfather's arms as he walked her out of the camper. She had no marks or scars, just a small piece of hair that got singed.
"Oh she's a miracle," Chavanak said. "I said (Monday) night at the hospital, I want to see this baby every day for the rest of my life because she's a walking miracle," Chavanak said.
The child's parents - Cody and Angela Zuk -- escaped the fire and both were taken to hospitals by medical helicopter.
"They have been up and moving they've been going from bed to chair," Chavanak said. "They are able to communicate and everything."
When Chavanak looked at a website created for the family to raise money for medical bills, she couldn't help but become overwhelmed by all the support.
"You can't even put it into words, you know, the kindness," Chavanak said. "It's just greatly appreciated. I know that they would want me to tell you that it's great appreciated."
