OHIO COUNTY, W.Va. – A Barnesville man has been indicted by the Ohio County Grand Jury for allegedly shooting a gun outside a local Gentleman’s Club.

Officers from the Ohio County Sheriff's Department said the incident happened on April 22, when 33-year-old James Crumpler was asked to leave Jill's Gentleman's Club.

Deputies said Crumpler was angry about being kicked out of the establishment and fired his gun. He is facing two felony counts of wanton endangerment.

Reports indicate Crumpler told deputies the two bouncers at Jill's Lounge were “punks,” and he felt threatened.

Moments later, workers at the club reportedly feared for their lives.

Crumpler was first taken to the hospital for chest pains, and then taken to jail.
The Sheriff said he believes alcohol was involved.
