BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio —

Belmont County Common Pleas Court Judge Jennifer Sargus held criminal hearings Monday.

Attorneys discussed the status of Nicole Gust, 19, a co-defendant in an incident at the Bellaire courthouse. She is accused of driving the getaway car after a man ran from a courtroom May 9, forcing deputies to shoot at the tires.

The prosecutor told the court the Ohio Attorney General's Office will take over the case due to a conflict of interest. Lab results showed Gust tested positive for marijuana since her release and her bond was revoked. She will return to the Belmont County Jail to be incarcerated Friday. Gust along with an attorney representing the state will return to the courtroom for another status hearing Aug.19.

Sargus sentenced Ronnie Oliver on several breaking and entering charges stemming from an incident at a Barnesville home. He received a suspended 18-month sentence to three months in jail, six months at the Eastern Ohio Correctional Center and five years of community controlled release.

A pre-trial hearing was also held for Cody West Williams, 22, who faces a slew of aggravated burglary charges from incidents spanning from April to June. The prosecutor asked for reciprocal discovery from the defense attorney. Williams' plea agreement deadline and next date in court is Aug. 5.
