Reward offered for unsolved arsons in Jeff. Co.

Updated: Thursday, November 21 2013, 11:50 AM EST

The Ohio Division of State Fire Marshal is seeking the public's help in solving four arson cases in Jefferson County over the last two years.

Investigators said they think the four crimes may be related.

Two of the fires happened this year: one on Oct. 25 on Worthington Street in Yorkville and the other on Nov. 15 on Ohio Street in Tiltonsville.

Two other fires also may be related, investigators said. Those fires happened on Oct. 9, 2011, on Walden Avenue in Tiltonsville and on Oct. 19, 2012, on Ohio Street in Tiltonsville.

A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to the person or people responsible.

Anyone with information is asked to call the state fire marshal's office at 800-589-2728. People can also call the NEWS9 Lauttamus Security Crime Busters Tipline at 800-862-BUST.
