Police looking for suspect in case of Holloway home invasion

BELMONT COUNTY – One Holloway women was assaulted with a weapon by a masked burglar during a home invasion early Sunday morning.
Sheriff Dave Lucas says around 7:30 a.m., an armed, masked, male intruder entered a home on South St. in the Village of Holloway. Investigators report the owner was then assaulted with the weapon.

An undisclosed amount of prescription pills were stolen from inside the home. Lucas says the woman was transported to a local hospital for her injuries and later released.

Police say the burglar was dressed in camouflage pants and a ski mask. Now, authorities are asking for tips that could lead police in the right direction.
