Home invasion investigation underway

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio---

The Cross Creek Township Police Department is investigating a home invasion.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. at a home on Morningside Drive.
Officials say four men are believed to be responsible.
They are described as 20-year-old males- one white, two black, one light-skinned.
All were wearing handkerchiefs.
Officials say two elderly residents were thrown to the ground during the crime.
Investigators say the men became violent and stated they had a weapon. Police believe they got away with at least a jewelry box.
Right now investigators are looking for a green Chevy Cavalier with Ohio plates.
