With severe winter weather this week, many homes and businesses experienced drastic changes in temperatures.

Unfortunately, water pipes suffered the most damage from the drastic dip in temperature.

The East Liverpool Salvation Army had at least 2 inches of water on their floors in some places, along with ceiling tiles falling to the ground. Now, as one of their main coat drives was scheduled for Saturday, they instead had to clean up and reschedule the coat drive.

The building suffered floor and ceiling damage from water spilling onto at least three floors of their building. At least 20 workers helped the clean up and repairs.

Major Douglas McGuire says that they just look to repair quickly, and continue on with the charity and programs as soon as possible.
