David Lee Murphy to play at Jamboree Wednesday night

Updated:

MORRISTOWN, Ohio - Just when you thought Jamboree in the Hills couldn't get any bigger.
Well, it is.
"For the first time, this year we're having our Wednesday night pre-party featuring a national act," JITH General Manager Kelly Tucker-Jones said.
That artist is David Lee Murphy.
Murphy's songs are no strangers to the country music charts, belting out hits like "Dust on the Bottle" and "Party Crowd."
The best part? It's a free concert, sponsored by Panhandle Cleaning and Restoration at the main stage at the Jamboree in the Hills site.
"It doesn't matter if you're a ticketholder or never been to Jamboree in the Hills before, we wanted everyone to experience it at no cost," said Josh Contraguerro, marketing vice president at Panhandle. We wanted to do something that's never been done, really extend this to almost a five-day event now."
Inevitably, the third week in July heats up. This year, Panhandle Cleaning and Restoration will have an enclosed "cooling tent" with air conditioning.
Panhandle officials are also inviting fans to check out their Facebook page where they'll soon be offering a pre-party VIP experience.
